Property prices: house sales registered in March - Telegraph

New data released by the Land Registry today shows a 17% drop in sales of houses in this top bracket, from 147 to 121, between February and March.
Under the new rules, introduced in the Budget on 21 March, these properties are subject to a new 7% stamp duty charge, meaning that buyers must hand over at least £140,000 to the taxman.
Sales of properties worth just over the £2m mark are expected to drop further in April.
The most valuable sales were clustered in the south, particularly in London. More than 544 properties worth £1m or over were registered in March, a drop from 602 the previous month
An £8.55m apartment on Lancaster Gate, an imposing stucco-fronted terrace of white houses overlooking Hyde Park, was the most expensive house registered last month. The building, formerly a luxury hotel which was recently converted into luxury apartments, is Grade II listed.
It was purchased by Lance Uggla, the Canadian chief executive of a financial services company.

  2. Much appreciated such a great amount for this data. I need to tell you I agree on a few of the focuses you make here and others might require some further survey, however I can see your perspective. Rain gutter maintenance
