When it comes to home loans, the frontman of Take That would probably be regarded as a safe bet by banks.
But tax row singer Gary Barlow had no use for such financial assistance to buy this £12million house – he paid in cash.
Details of how he purchased the imposing four-storey property in one of London’s most fashionable areas emerged days after it was revealed that he and two other bandmates, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – and their manager Jonathan Wild – had invested £26million in a scheme allegedly designed to avoid paying tax
